(P) Foods allowed by the Rina diet | InCont

The Rina diet does not exclude any food groups, so your body benefits from all the nutrients it needs. It is a weight loss regimen that does not make you starve because it does not focus on how much you eat, but on what and how you eat. So here are the foods allowed in the Rina diet!

Foods allowed by the Rina diet

The Rina diet dissociates food by day, dividing it into four categories: proteins, starches, carbohydrates and vitamins. Every day you should only eat foods that belong to one category, exactly in the order specified.

After the 4 days, you should repeat this cycle (in the same order) for 90 days. Once a month, you will have a detox day (days 29, 58 and 87), in which you will not eat anything, but only drink unsweetened water and tea.

For breakfast, you should eat only fruit every day throughout the diet (except fasting days). You can eat any fruit you want every 2 hours until 12 noon. You can drink unsweetened coffee or tea.

Also, you can still eat a handful of nuts and seeds, but not in combination with fruit. It is important to leave a break of at least 2 hours between breakfast and lunch.

As for lunch and dinner, you will eat the specific foods of the day in the diet.

Allowed foods – day 1

On day 1 of the Rina diet you should eat protein rich foods such as:

• poultry, beef, pork, game

• fish and seafood

• egg

• milk, yogurt, cheeses, cream

In addition to these, you can also eat neutral vegetables, such as: cucumbers, mushrooms, green beans, courgettes, game, asparagus, spinach, broccoli, lettuce, rocket, etc. For lunch, you can also eat a small slice of wholemeal bread and a clear vegetable soup.

An important rule to follow on this day is that you should only consume a certain type of protein throughout the day.

That is, if you have chosen to eat meat for lunch, you will eat the same for dinner, only half of what you ate for lunch. Between lunch and dinner it is necessary to leave a break of at least 4 hours and not eat anything after 20:00.

Allowed foods – day 2

On day 2 of the Rina diet you will only eat starchy foods, such as:

• legumes: beans, peas, lentils, chickpeas, soy

• potatoes

• cereals and pseudocereals: oats, barley, millet, quinoa, bulgur, brown rice, corn, buckwheat

It is recommended to eat a wide range of these foods and combine them to get the most nutritious and tasty dishes.

Just like the day before, you can accompany these foods with neutral vegetables. Also for lunch you can eat a slice of wholemeal bread and a clear vegetable soup.

At dinner you will eat half the lunch portion. Between lunch and dinner it is necessary to leave a break of at least 3 hours and not eat anything after 20:00.

Allowed foods – day 3

Day 3 is the most awaited and loved day in the Rina diet. On this day it is allowed to indulge in foods rich in simple carbohydrates which are prohibited in other weight loss diets.

Basically, for lunch and dinner, you are allowed to eat the following types of food:

• bread, pasta, polenta, couscous, cereals

• pastries, croissants, cakes, pancakes, biscuits, ice cream

• burgers, pizza

• dark chocolate Whatever you choose to eat on this day, it is important that the food is vegetarian and does not combine it with proteins.

For dinner, eat smaller portions and a few squares of dark chocolate. Between lunch and dinner it is necessary to leave a break of at least 3 hours and not eat anything after 20:00.

Allowed foods – day 4

On day 4 of the Rina diet, you need to take vitamins. Hence, you will only consume neutral fruits and vegetables throughout the day. You can eat them every 2 hours until 8pm, fresh or cooked. You can also eat nuts and seeds. It would be ideal to consume fruit as a separate meal, that is, not to combine it with vegetables, nuts and seeds.
