Andreea Bănică recently surprised her followers on social networks after cooking a delicious dumpling soup for her loved ones. Her fans were curious about how she ended up with the blonde’s recipe, so they bombarded her with dozens of messages, asking her to share her culinary knowledge about her with them.
Known for maintaining an open and close relationship with her fan community, the famed artist revealed to her fans what ingredients she uses to make gnocchi soup.
Ingredients:
- 2 onions
- 4 carrots
- 1 celery
- a bunch of parsley
- 1 parsnip
- salt
For the gnocchi:
- a tablespoon of oil
- a spoonful of water
- a pinch of baking powder or dead baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- 60 grams of semolina
Method of preparation
The soup is prepared according to the classic recipe, but the secret lies in the preparation of the gnocchi. The water and the vegetables are boiled and at the end the gnocchi are prepared.
One of Andrea Banică’s fans on Instagram revealed to the artist a secret to making the soup delicious. Apparently the ingenious trick to keeping gnocchi soft is to boil them for 5 minutes, then pour them into a cup of cold water, then boil them for another 2 minutes.
